Customer Requirements and Project Background

The customer has long been engaged in the sale and processing of building materials and places great importance on the surface quality, forming performance, and color consistency of color-coated steel coils.

For this procurement, the customer selected two Chinese suppliers:

• Our company was responsible for supplying 59 metric tons of large-pattern color-coated steel coils;
• Another factory supplied products of the same specifications at a relatively lower price.

The customer indicated that this procurement was not only about procurement costs but also aimed to verify the quality differences between products from different factories through subsequent processing and end-use applications, in order to select a stable supplier for future long-term cooperation.

Our Solution

In response to the customer’s concerns regarding product quality, our company focused on controlling the following aspects during the production process:

• High-quality substrate: We use DX51D+Z275 galvanized steel as the substrate to ensure excellent formability and corrosion resistance, providing a stable foundation for subsequent roll forming.
• Precise large-pattern embossing process: Through stable embossing process control, we ensure uniform patterns with a distinct three-dimensional effect, avoiding inconsistencies in pattern depth and enhancing the building’s aesthetic appeal.
• Strict Coating Quality Control: We use a 15/5 μm coating system to ensure uniform color, stable adhesion, and effectively enhance the product’s weather resistance.
• Export-Standard Packaging: All steel coils are fitted with paper cores and packaged in accordance with export standards to provide moisture-proof and impact-resistant protection, thereby reducing the risk of product damage during ocean transport.

Following acceptance of the first batch of products, the customer quickly confirmed its intention to continue purchasing products of the same specifications and signed another purchase order at the end of July 2026, further expanding the scope of the collaboration.
